Kennedy Institute offers a limited number of semester-long internships for students in partnership with multiple universities in the greater Boston area. Interns are ambassadors for the Institute, who gain mentorship and professional experience by facilitating the visitor experience, and assisting in policy research and content development for interactive educational platforms. Through two program divisions, interns contribute to the operations of a new non-profit center dedicated to civic learning and engagement. The internship program aims to promote leadership, teaching and professional career skills for students. Students receive training in the interactive exhibits, tablet experience, and simulations of senate debates. They will learn how to support and mentor expected visitor groups including Middle/High School and university classes, government officials, families, overseas visitors, and the general public.
