I am responsible for Safety, Engineering, Flight Operations, Cargo and Air Traffic Management functions of our association. Students will be exposed to various disciplines I am responsible for, possible industry meetings (depending on day they are here) and internal aviation related meetings held to develop policy. I think this would be good exposure to anyone interested in the field of aviation.

American Institute for Radiologic Pathology, airp.org Industry: Healthcare, Library Science 1010 Wayne Ave Suite 1020, Silver Spring, MD 20910 The mission of the American Institute for Radiologic Pathology (AIRP) is to advance the science of radiology for radiology residents, fellows, practicing radiologists and other physicians through a pathophysiologic understanding of disease as the basis for radiologic interpretation. There are two opportunities to shadow with AIRP: Pre-Med: Pre-med students may (depending on availability) shadow radiologic pathology conference where physicians discuss patient diagnosis base on case materials presented. Case materials include an extensive number of radiologic modalities, case pathologic images, and pathology specimen slides in glass and virtual slide formats. The student may review some case work from the AIRP archives. Secondly, they will have exposure to the resident radiology training course lectures – pending the student’s schedule. Library Sciences: Library science students will have exposure to capturing born digital records and storing content in a large relational database with a corresponding physical arrive of physical glass pathology slides. 2) The library science student will potentially experience modification of digital images and reports, accessioning of inbound cases, and the processing of content for faculty review or materials for medical waste.

I work with students in preschool through fifth grade with a wide range of needs. I have students in general education K-5 who have needs in the areas of articulation, answering questions, describing, social language/pragmatics, and nonliteral language. Finally, I also see students in 2 special needs K-5 classes who have disabilities such as autism, Down Syndrome, intellectual disability, or other physical impairments. A typical day consists of multiple group or individual sessions and consultations with other staff members/related service providers. The student who comes to shadow would be able to sit in during individual and group sessions, either in a speech room or in special education classrooms. If comfortable, they would be able to assist in setting up materials, collecting data, and helping students complete tasks. If the student would prefer to solely observe, that’s fine too!

Rock Terrace School (390 Martins Lane, Rockville, MD 20850): My day consists of being a job coach to some upper school students. These are students who are 18-21 years in age and are working on preparing for the world of work upon exiting MCPS the

In the afternoon they could experience going with me to see the education interns (senior students) who go to the elementary school and shadow as well as teach kindergarten -5th grade. There are five specializations in SCUA: University Archives, Broadcasting and journalism, state of Maryland, Labor History, Post-war Japan, Performing Arts, Historic Preservation, Literature and rare books, and Women's history. A staff of about 20 archivists,

We are part of a Department of Health and Mental Hygiene chronic care facility. In this shadowing experience, students will observe/participate in landscape management, volunteer personnel motivation and committee organization.
