Nov 3 - Cards: decorative stitch applique, stitching on paper Dec 8 - Machine embroidering on towels Jan. 5- Mug Rugs

Margie owns a 7 series BERNINA machine. She loves creativity

and useful projects. Although these classes will be specifically

planned using her Bernina machine, Margie welcomes other ma-

chine owners to these classes as well. Some of these classes will

be using machine embroidery. If you do not have an embroidery

machine you will still want to come to the classes that do not say

machine embroidery.

My Machine Can Do That?! Get the most out of your sewing machine while enjoying these little project classes. Explore the decorative stitches and embroidery on your machine. Use something other than just a straight stitch! Each class you will learn new techniques while completing a small project to gift or use.

Create A Tuffet

Tuffets are a touch of whimsy for your home that blends with all decors and bridges the gap between design and function. Quick and cute! Make one for yourself and several as gifts. With all of the geese traveling around this quilt, At-lantic Flyway seemed a most appropriate name. These geese are a great way to use up some of your scraps!!

Combo Weave by Michelle Hiatt

You’re already familiar with the Tucker Trimmer. Now let’s take it a step far-ther and make a fun and easy quilt using this same tool to make “Combo Units”. You will love how versatile this tool can be, definitely something you want in your ‘tool box’. You need ONLY the Tucker Trimmer 1, a Magic Wand, scraps and a background fabric. There is also a Focus fabric, which brings the quilt together through the Outer Border, but that is something you could purchase after you have completed the quilt. There are three sizes offered and fabric requirements are given on the pattern for each size.

Join us in Sewing “Little Angel Gowns” Come help us transform donated wedding gowns into “Little Angel Gowns”. Not

for brides, but for the little babies who never get the chance to come home with their families. These are donated to both hospitals and funeral homes around the country so parents have something both special enough and small enough to lay their precious bundle to rest. We can’t take away the pain of losing a child but we hope the angel gowns help parents with the grieving process and provide them a sense of comfort.

Nancy Pederson, a valued customer, introduced us to the “Little Angel Gown’s” project. She has made many of these gowns, but has acknowledged that many more are needed. We thank her for willingly coming and overseeing this project.

Help is needed cutting out, sewing, serging and embellishing the gowns. You will be able to choose a part you feel most comfortable doing. Bring a finger food to share for lunch. The 4th Thursday of each month: Oct 26 & Jan 25 We will not be meeting the 4th Thursday of November and December due to the holidays. Time: 10:00 - 4:00 For more information on the angel gowns: Google Little Angel Gowns
