Pinter’s Gardens & Pumpkins is Decorah’s newest attraction! It’s THE place to be this fall. Not only do they have a pumpkin patch, corn maze, junior go carts, farm animals and giant jumping pillow, but they also have tons of kids activities lined uplike face painting, story time, pumpkin carving, and even a special haunted corn maze for Halloween. ArtHaus in downtown Decorah has a full fall schedule of classes for all ages, “tinys” on up to adultsdance, sign language, poetry slam, photography, ornament workshop, drawing, ballet….go to www.arthausdecorah.org for a complete list! There are also fantastic one-night events like concerts and poetry slams for those in town only for a short time. On a crisp cool morning, there’s nothing like a cup of delicious hot cocoa from Café Mapie on Winnebago Street. They’re also a great place to catch up with friends, utilize free Wi-Fi or read a book. 563-387-0593 The Decorah Fish Hatchery is a beautiful place to visit in the fall. Sept through mid Nov on Saturday or

Sundays for fresh apples. Sundays are

extra special—enjoy hay wagon rides

and caramel apple sundaes!
