Your next few years will be full of academic and spiritual growth. our residence halls are cozy and ready for you to move in! We have listed what you can expect to find in each room. Be sure to check with your roommates to fill your room with all additional necessities. We want you to feel at home, but we ask that university furniture remain in your room and that you only use push pins or tacks to attach posters, pictures, etc. to dry wall, not cinder blocks. any use of tape or adhesive putty is at your own risk, as you will be held responsible for any damage.

INStItUtIoNal lIaBIlItYThe University will not be responsible for damage to or loss of personal belongings, which are a result of fire, wind, water, insects, rodents, vandalism, or theft. However, when damage or loss is reported, the University will take reasonable steps to attempt to resolve the problem. Students residing in the residence halls are encouraged to make sure personal belongings are covered by their parent’s homeowner’s policy or a renter’s insurance policy.

Please Note: No early arrivals are allowed except for specific groups that have been pre-approved by the Office of Student Housing. If you have questions regarding your assignment, the Office of Student Housing can be contacted at [email protected] or (434) 592-4139.

tuesday, aug. 14, 6-10 p.m.Wednesday, aug. 15, 8 a.m.-10 p.m.Students who know their room assignment may go directly to their assigned residence hall and receive their key from the Resident assistant during check-in times. on Wednesday, housing personnel will be available in the arthur S. Demoss Hall 2nd Floor IlRc to assist students who do not have a housing assignment or are unsure of their assignment. Your assignment info can be verified by logging into “Housing and Dining” on aSISt.

If you have completed Financial check-In, please go directly to your assigned residence hall to check in with your Resident assistant. New and transfer students who have received a housing assignment may check into their residence hall during the following times:

frESHmAN SEmiNAr 101this orientation course begins on thursday, aug. 16 at 9 a.m., and is required for all first-time freshmen and transfers who have 12 or fewer credits. For more information, visit www.liberty.edu/FRSm.

TrANSfEr oriENTATioNall transfer students with more than 12 credit hours must attend transfer orientation at 10 a.m. on Friday, aug. 17in the towns-alumni lecture Hall.

at liberty University, each student must complete a technology competency requirement. there are two ways to complete this requirement:

Complete inFormation teChnology 110 during your First 45-hours at liberty or First year iF a transFer student

integrated learning resource center (ilrc)liberty offers a state-of-the-art computer technology center which, in conjunction with the library, is known as the Integrated learning Resource center (IlRc). the library, which houses almost 200,000 volumes, services students in all areas of research and project planning. computers are loaded with microsoft office, adobe Photoshop, microsoft Visual Studio, Quarkxpress, mathematica, and SPSS. Specialty labs include mIDI, language and macintosh. In addition, student residences are equipped with filtered high-speed Internet.
