the Fallstop® adventure product line includes a comprehen-sive selection of cowstails for configuration with karabiners and pulleys. our fresh approach, especially in webbing design and harness loops gives the users more options for varying their equipment, combinations, and configurations and above all to make it much less expensive to replace individual parts which become damaged.

All cowstail variants can be individually combined according to customer wishes with different kinds of karabiners and pulleys. Special lengths and configurations are of course possible at any time (please note minimum purchase quanti-ties in each case). Made of high-strength, extra-rugged and flexible 26-mm polyamide. The end loops in each case form an 'X' so that when the anchor knots are looped into place the strap material settles into position flat and without rotation.

KM rope-series

The cowstails of the kM rope series are made of special, long-lasting dynamic kernmantle ropes with karabiners permanently sewn into place. The user can individually select the components for each of the two connectors (karabiner type or pulleys).

The rope ends are sewn with the BoRNACk full-material puncture sewing technique. This type of seam avoids thread buildup on the surface and is thus especially long-lasting.

to complete the different kinds of cowstails, we offer the user a selection of various types of karabiners.

Special attention is given among the karabiners of the Attack-Series especially to the quality of the snap springs. Every produc-tion batch undergoes a special inspection, regarding the creep strength (frequency of use) of the snapper system. This prevents premature slackening of the spring and/or functional impair-ment in the form of stiffness of movement which could reduce safety in use. All karabiner types are provided with an eye (Captive Eye) to prevent inadvertent twisting. The dimensions and the design permit trouble-free loop attachment with ST Band-Series cowstails.

Designed with an absolutely stable centre of gravity: under no circumstances can the pulley turn over and cause a dangerous system load even when unloaded. while all equipment systems in adventure parks and abseiling parks are designed to forestall heavy falling loads, the harness (i.e. the ergonomic link between the human body and the securing system) is especially important: it is there not merely to prevent falls or for riding rope slides or negotiating other elements.

The harness system must meet different kinds of requirement profiles and in doing so also keep the body suspended in an ergonomically acceptable position, even under unfavourable operating conditions (e.g. very overweight persons) or mishaps (physical overload, loss of consciousness etc.) so that excessive bending of the back, extreme deviation from the upright posi-tion or even inversion are impossible.

This basic, functional full-body harness is ergonomically designed to ensure that the shoulder straps support the upper body when it hangs freely, ensuring comfort even when the muscles com-pletely relax (e.g. due to loss of consciousness) while preventing bending of the back (lordosis) or a horizontal supine position.

The harness system is available in two versions, both fully adjustable from XXS to XXL. The loads placed on the descent device (abseil brake) very quickly add up to a very high number of abseiling metres which can quickly exceed the standard limit values even in the highest class. The SSB consists of a double-stranded cowstail with an SSB hook on each end; the system's user always has the option of alter-nating with one hook on a taut rope or selecting another safe anchoring point.Mechanical ID points control the function of the hooks and make it impossible for them to detach from the securing system. When the safety points are changed, the unlocked connector is hooked to the new anchoring point via the TWEEZEL and thus locked in place.
