Family Campsites
$25 per night
$20 per night (Seniors 60+ with proper ID)
*Maximum of 6 persons per site.
** A camper, tent, or vehicle must be placed “ON-SITE”
by 6:00 p.m. the day the site is posted.
**Additional charge for swimming beach access.
Firewood Permits
A firewood permit is $10 and is good for up to one week
stay.
Transporting of firewood outside of the campground is
prohibited.
Beach Discount
All registered campers will receive a $1.00 off the beach
admission. Take your registration
card (yellow copy) to the Camp Host
or the Park District Office (2355 Ada
Rd.) to be stamped for your discount
to the beach.

General Information
The Ottawa Metro Park Campground is opening for
its 17th season. Ottawa Metro Park Campground is located
in Bath Township, east of Lima, on St. Rt. 81 (2632 Ada
Road), adjacent to the Park District Office, McLean Teddy
Bear Park, and Allen County Farm Park.
Our friendly family-oriented self registering
campground features thirty
spacious campsites with
three handicap accessible
sites. Each site has water
and electric (minimum of 50
amp), picnic table, and fire
ring. For the larger RV owners, eight pull through sites are
available. A convenient dump station is located within the
campground. Paved walkways and paths connect campsites
to the modern shower/restroom facility with vending area as
well as connecting to many other features of the Ottawa
Metro Park. Campsites are available on a “first come, first
serve” basis.
The maximum number of camping days is limited to 14
days in any 21 day period.
Persons must be 18 years or older to register for campsite.
Check out time is 12:00 p.m.
Check in time is 3:00 p.m.
Campsites can be occupied by a maximum of 2 tents, or 1
tent and 1 mobile camping unit.
Campsites are for overnight camping only.
Quiet time is from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
A camper, tent, or vehicle must be placed “ON-SITE”
by 6:00 p.m. the day the site is posted.
Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, firearms, and fireworks
are prohibited.
Bicycles are restricted to pathways and roadways provided.
Prohibited to ride a bicycle between the hours of sunset and
sunrise without having a light affixed to the bicycle.
The use of motorbikes, motorcycles, and motor scooters
including electric scooters are prohibited from being used on
all trails and bikeways. (excluding handicapped)
Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Campers must
clean up after their pets and place waste in trash recepta-
cles.
Pets are prohibited in the campground shower/restroom
facility & beach facility.
Campsite cannot be used as a base of operation for con-
ducting any type of business. Dangerous chemicals, explo-
sives, or other dangerous materials are prohibited.
Vending of merchandise, services, food, or soliciting for
money or goods is prohibited.
Defacing or damaging park property is subject to arrest, fine,
and eviction.
Removal of a posted valid camping permit by anyone, other
than the person to whom it was issued shall be prohibited.
Walking or biking without permission through a campsite
rented by someone else is prohibited.
Camping units, vehicles, and boats are not to be washed at
the campsite.
Feeding wildlife is prohibited.
One vehicle per site on pavement. Parking on the grass and
stones are prohibited. Additional vehicles are to be placed in
the overflow parking lot.

Entertainment for the whole family, children’s
tent, demonstrating crafters, food, hayrides,
pony rides, apple pie contest. Free admission.
For Your Safety
Ottawa Metro Park’s main attraction is a 450 foot sand
beach swimming lake with wheelchair access, a “Raindrop”
water fountain, “Free Fall Extreme 10ft. Water Slide, Surf
Slide, Children’s swimming area, vending machines, chang-
ing area and restroom, two shade structures, plus a cov-
ered picnic area. Family Fun Days are scheduled through-
out the summer months. The beach is supervised by certi-
fied lifeguards and Park Rangers for visitors’ safety. Hours
of operation may be adjusted according to weather condi-
tions and/or low attendance.
