TIPS FOR SHOPPING AT THE FARMERS MARKET

THIS SUMMER

Stay home if you are sick.

Cover any coughs and sneezes with your elbow.

Wear a cloth or mask to cover your mouth and nose.

Leave children at home if you have childcare available.

Use hand sanitizer or hand-washing stations often if available.

Keep at least 6 feet between yourself and other customers and vendors.

Go to the market at less busy times, like weekdays or when the market first opens.

Be aware that only the farmer will be allowed to touch produce before it’s sold.

Wash all produce with water before eating.

Check with your farms/farmers’ market websites for special instructions or produce availability.
