If I need additional help, what can I do? To speak to a live person call 713‐589‐5234 or send an E‐mail to [email protected]

Can I use a Macintosh Computer?  Yes

What version of Internet Explorer must I have?

Logging into MyVue

Problem:  I don’t have a password.Solution: Check for a 2nd E‐mail from MyVue that contains a system generated 

password.

Problem:  I forgot my passwordSolution: Click on “Forgot password” on the login screen.  You will be prompted 

to enter your E‐mail address.  A new password will be sent to your E‐mail address..

Problem:  I never received  any E‐mails with login information from MyVueSolution: Call the HMI support phone at 713‐589‐5234

Problem:  After I logged in, the system asked me to reset my passwordSolution: This is normal, enter a password you can remember and enter a 

security recovery question & answer.

Sharing my Exam with OthersProblem:  I want to share my exam with someone else but I don’t know how.

Solution: In the MyVue toolbar, select the share icon.           A menu appears, select “Share”  

The menu below will appear, now you must input the E‐mail address of the person you would like to share your exam with.  You will notice a twisty icon, this gives you some options like how long can the guest view your exam,  do you want to share all your exams or just the one your are viewing, and add any person comments.

You will receive a Share Exam window to indicate completion.

Stop Sharing my Exam

Problem:  I no longer want an invited guest to see my exams

Solution:  In the MyVue toolbar, select the share icon           A menu appears, select “Manage Existing Shares”        The below menu will appear, Click on the        icon at the right of each line for the Share actions you wish to cancel.  Click on the Undo All button to undo all existing sharing instances.

Save the Exam to My Local PCProblem:  I want to make a copy of my examSolution: You have the option to either save a single image or save the entire exam.Step 1:  With the exam displayed, click on the Save Icon,      choose save image or save examStep 2:  If save exam was selected, a progress bar will appear showing the download to the local PC.Step 3: If save image was select, a separate window will appear. Right click and select Save As Note:  Save Exam will create a Zip file which contains the image data in a format (DICOM) normally accessible by other hospitals or imaging centers.   Save Image will create a JPEG image.  You may create a CD of the file structure using standard window burning software.

When saving single image, a new window appears, right click to Save As

Viewing The ImagesProblem:  My exam has several images but I can only see oneSolution:  If you have a mouse with a center wheel, scroll through the images with this method.  

Or there is a slider bar to the right of the image that allows you to view more slices.Note: Some X‐rays only contain one image.

Problem:  How do I know if I have viewed all the images?Solution:  If you had a CT or MRI, your scan probably has multiple groups.  Locate the series 

chooser icon.                            Either navigate to the next group with the arrow icon or select the series chooser option to select another group.  

Problem:  Where is the report located?Solution:  Move your mouse over the right pane area and click again to display the Patient 

Reports pane.
