Q 1: What are the URL to access OUI applications?

Q 2: Which browser should be used to access OUI?

OUI is compatible with browsers such as Chrome, Mozilla, IE and Safari. It is recommended

to use it on Google Chrome.

Q 3: Which Operating System should be use for Open UI?

The recommended OS for OUI is Windows 7 & Windows 10.

Q 4: Are there user preference settings required for using OUI?

Specific user settings are required. Click on Tools->User Preferences -> User Preference List

and select Navigation Control as Tab and Theme as Aurora respectively.

No changes in functionality across application, however there would be colour difference.

In OUI the breadcrumbs displayed in grey background with black fonts (Example below)

Q 7: How to print the data or information in OUI?

HI user had option to right click the mouse button and take print as well Print View.

However in OUI there is no right click button or option available. If user want to see the

print view, run query, etc. then user have to click on the top left side of the breadcrumbs

options. (Example below)

Q 8: Whether User Management can be accessed in the same way as it is now?

Time being User management can be accessed in the below URL in Internet Explorer

Q 9: What should be done if the distorted home page is observed after login

Refresh the browser

Q 10: How to read alerts in Open UI?

To view alert navigate to right top corner in application for the notification Icon

Q 11: How to Generate BIP Report

1. Navigate to required screen and click report button highlighted below.

2. After clicking report icon, system will display “Run Report” applet on left hand side.

3. Select desired report from Report Name dropdown from “Run Report” and click

“Submit” button. System will generate report.

4. In case, report is not getting generated due to server load then the same can accessed

from My Reports later. The same can be used to access any reports whenever necessary

in future too.

5. Locate report name with generted date and click report name.

6. If pop-up blocker is enable for your browser then after clicking submit button, it will

display pop-up blocker warning in Google Chrome as well as Mozilla Firefox.

Firefox Browser:

To disable this popup, follow the below steps:

i. Click option button.

ii. Choose allow pop-up.

Google Chrome:

i. Locate pop-up blocker icon.

ii. Click pop-up blocker icon and allow pop-up blocker.
