1850’s Settlement
Experience rural life in the 1850’s - the covered
wagon settlers arrived in, their first dwelling dug
out of the sod, a cabin, smoke house, garden and
barn. The one-room schoolhouse and country
church followed as a community developed.
1930’s Farm Site
The 1930’s farm site, complete with house,
barns, farm animals, and windmill is one of the
most popular sites. Here, each child will be able
to try their hand at milking a real live goat!
What do kids say about
Farmamerica?
• “Farmamerica was very fun. My favourite was the schoolhouse and milking the goats. I also liked the dugout and the church and the covered wagon.”
• “I loved all the animals and the 1930’s homestead.”
