    Reliability of chemical product, price, location and

    availability. Wants confidence that if there is a problem

    with the product purchased that the supplier will fix it.

    Buys Nufarm/Crop Care products from Farmer Joes

    (price). Other stores in town are CRT, Elders, Landmark.

    When the prices are due to go up this

    is not relayed to the farmer. He had an

    instance where he knew of an

    increase and saved $2.50/ litre where

    the supplier had no clue. He stocked

    up. Also he was alerted by suppliers

    that there was going to be shortage of

    a chemical and there was no actual

    shortage.

    In this region rainfall is not as great

    and land area has one crop per season.

    Rotates crops to condition soil and

    improve nitrogen in soil. Rotates

    chemicals to assist reducing risks with

    chemical resistance.
