Reliability of chemical product, price, location and
availability. Wants confidence that if there is a problem
with the product purchased that the supplier will fix it.
Buys Nufarm/Crop Care products from Farmer Joes
(price). Other stores in town are CRT, Elders, Landmark.
When the prices are due to go up this
is not relayed to the farmer. He had an
instance where he knew of an
increase and saved $2.50/ litre where
the supplier had no clue. He stocked
up. Also he was alerted by suppliers
that there was going to be shortage of
a chemical and there was no actual
shortage.
