WORD ON FIRE ENGAGE!How God Shares Himself with Us
What is “divine revelation”? It’s God’s sharing of himself through Scripture and theChurch’s Sacred Tradition. In the Old Testament, God is revealed primarily asCreator, but he remains hidden behind his creation.Yet in the New Testament, God is no longer completely hidden and is revealed in theperson of Jesus Christ, who is fully God and full man. In other words, Jesus Christ isthe ultimate form of divine revelation.Learn more about the divine revelation in this short video:
Questions:
How did the Bible come to be? How is it best interpreted? How is the one, true God revealed differently in the Old and New Testaments?
After watching, please add a comment sharing your thoughts.
