DU-840/DU-570 Multifunctional Display Units
TRT800H Mode S TransponderThe TRT800H Class 1 Mode S transponder fits perfectly into the FAVISIA system. It offers ADS-B OUT capability and a built-in pressure transducer for independent altitude measurement. It is linked to the FAVISIA display unit for remote indication.The TRT800H features the same high contrast OLED display as the ATR833 .
ATR833 VHF RadioThe ATR833 is a modern VHF radio which supports both 8.33kHz and 25kHz frequency spacing. It's built-in Intercom eliminates the need for additional audio equipment. It can be controlled completely by the FAVISIA display units. Frequency data bases can comfortably be used with location awareness and a large screen display. The modern OLED display provides high contrast and readability.
The BFI57 is used as a backup instrument. Its built-in GPS and pressure sensors are used as a backup for the sensor box to feed the primary flight display. In case of a power fail or loss of functionality of all other FAVISIA components, it provides a complete flight instrumentation with built-in battery backup for more than three hours. A sophisticated battery management ensures permanent operational readiness.

The DU-840/DU-570 Multifunctional Display Units offer access to all flight information in four different basic views shown on the opposite page. All display formats have been designed to offer the pilot all essential information at any time while providing access to details as required in each situation.The DU-840 has a 8.4" LCD display. The DU-570 offers all the functionality of the larger DU-840 in a smaller form factor with a 5.7" display for airplanes with limited cockpit panel space. Both units comprise a high brightness, sunlight readable display, high quality, illuminated buttons and a double encoder knob with push button for data entry.In addition to primary flight instrument, engine and navigation information, the DU-840/DU-570 offer quick and easy access to VHF radio and transponder control.Two display units can be linked to offer a tailored solution for every ultralight aircraft cockpit concept.
Sensor Box SB-200/SB-100 The sensor box is the heart of the FAVISIA system. It offers built-in attitude sensors and an interface to pressure probes, a variety of engine sensors and can be expanded to support trim control and flap, gear and canopy indication. It is normally attached to the fire wall, allowing shortest connection to the engine sensors. One serial line links all the sensors to the primary display.An optional magnetic compass sensor can also be connected.
