The new bakery on Aungier Street, Dublin, is called Krust but we've taken to calling it Upper Krust because thedoughnuts, cakes and cronuts – that sinful cross between a croissant and a doughnut – are so good.

It's worth seeking out even if you don't have a sweet tooth; try the carrot bread, Gouda cheese bread or the roastonion bread. And did we mention the pretzel doughnuts?

Owners Rob Kramer and Garret Flower have been in the bakery distribution business for two years but they havedecided to showcase their own products in this great new bakery. Hurrah.
