Once a week you are sent prayer requests by email so that you can help lift up the concerns, requests and praises of others from FBCG. lIVIng through the losses of lIfe, a two hour grief seminar led by Pastor Roger, will be held Sunday, March 10, 3:00 p.m. in the East Campus Chapel. A flyer at the Welcome Center describes the topics to be covered. Register by March 3 at [email protected] or call 630.232.7068 ext. 131.

Young adult lIbrarY launCh Join us on Thursday night, Feb. 28, at 7 pm in the east campus chapel to meet one of FBCG’s very own authors, Travis Thrasher, for the launch of our library’s young adult section (ages 12-17). As someone who discovered the inspiration to write in third grade, Travis is living his dream as a full-time storyteller. The Solitary Tales are his series of books that have a unique take on spiritual warfare happening in today’s world as narrated by a teenager named Chris Buckley.

gIVIng enVelopes Beginning this year we will be mailing giving envelopes to your home every two months. If you have not received any but would like to in the future, please sign up at the Welcome Center in the lobby where you can also pick up some generic giving envelopes to use until the next mailing arrives.

sola sCrIptura is meeting this Sunday, February 24, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the East Campus Student Center! Whether you have been attending Sola Scriptura regularly, or you are a first time guest, Pastor Jeff Frazier welcomes you to join us in our study of the book of Romans. women’s retreat regIstratIon Is underwaY! Women of all ages are invited to join us for a one-day retreat, “From Battle Scars to Beauty Marks”, Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 8:30 a.m to 3:00 p.m. at the West Campus. Guest speaker, Ellie Lofaro, is a renowned speaker, author and teacher. Cost is $30 ($25 by February 24). Note two NEW lunch options. Carol describes how she has found God's 'grace places' in her family after her son was sentenced to life in prison for murder. The book explores how we can discover God at work in seemingly insurmountable challenges. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.—come early and grab a cup of coffee! turkeY mIssIons There will be a Turkey Missions Informational meeting on March 3 in Room 103 at the West Campus following the 10:45 a.m. service. All are welcome to attend to learn more about FBCG’s 2013 short-term trip to Turkeymen wanted - hIs work, Inc. has announced a House Building Tribute Trip to Acuna, Mexico honoring John Mosiman on April 20-27, 2013. mIssIonarY of the week: Joel and Barbara Wright, ICM Converge Worldwide, US-Brazil; Brazilian pastors from across the USA will gather in April for a conference in Stamford, CT, to be taught and encouraged by speakers and leaders coming from Brazil. The Wrights along with other Converge Brazilian leadership plan to join 700+others for learning and inspiration.Pray that this will lead to a surge of fruitfulness among Brazilian churches across the country as the Wrights work among them.Pray for bridge-building efforts to expand ministry to Brazilians who have immigrated to other areas (Haiti, Africa, and the Middle East).
