hand In hand Registration for the 2013-14 school year at Hand in Hand Christian Preschool, located at our East Campus, has begun. For more information visit handinhand-preschool.com.

kIngdom roCk, this year’s VBS for 1st-4th grade (as of Fall 2013), will take place at the West Campus June 24-28, from 9:00 am-12 pm. Preschool VBS and child care are provided for children whose parents serve.

saturdaY mornIng men’s BIBle studY meets at 7:30 a.m. in West Campus Room 103. Join us for Bible study, coffee, and Christian fellowship.

men’s praYer group meets to pray Tuesday mornings, 6:00-7:00 a.m. in room 204, East Campus. We pray for our families, pastors, staff, church mission trips and youth events, our country’s leaders, etc. Come join us!

women’s BIBle studY The 7-week summer study, Wonderstruck: Awaken to the Nearness of God by Margaret Feinberg begins this Wednesday. It will be held in the Student Center at the East Campus, 6:30-8:00 p.m. Please visit the Women’s Ministry Kiosk or our website, fbcg.com/wbs, to get more information and to register.

adhd semInar Parents are invited to attend the Parent Seminar Tuesday, May 14 at 7:00 pm in room 103 of West Campus. Dr. Chris Mazzarella from Heritage Professional Associates will present The Hope, Healing and Future for you and the ADHD in your life! If you are able to attend, please RSVP at [email protected].

trek summer Challenge trIp Registration is now available for our bi-annual Houseboat Trip, July 28 - August 2, to Bulls Shoals Lake, Arkansas. This trip is for incoming 9th - 12th graders. Cost is $495 and registration materials are available in TREK and also online at fbcg.com.

Jr. hIgh summer adVenture trIp : To kick off the summer, Souled Out students, incoming 7th and 8th graders, are going on an Adventure Weekend to Expeditions Unlimited in Baraboo, Wisconsin! Students leave June 14 and return June 17. The trip cost is $210. Sign up before June 2 for $195. Informational fliers are available in Souled Out and online at fbcg.com.

gIVIng enVelopes Beginning this year we will be mailing giving envelopes to your home every two months. If you have not received any but would like to in the future, please sign up at the Welcome Center in the lobby where you can also pick up some generic giving envelopes to use until the next mailing arrives.

sola sCrIptura is meeting next Sun., May 19, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the East Campus Student Center! Whether you have been attending Sola Scriptura regularly, or you are a first time guest, Pastor Jeff Frazier welcomes you to join us in our study of the book of Romans.

BuIlt to last invites you to hear our Director of Children’s Ministry, Chris Sarros, present “Spiritual Formation of Children” on May 19 and Jun. 2. Built to Last is for young married couples in their 20s-30s, whether newly married or starting a family. The group meets at 10:45 a.m. in West Campus Room 103.

mIssIonarY of the week: Anita Deyneka of Russian Ministries - Orphans- Pray for expanding co-operation between Christian Alliance for Orphans, 4-14 Global Children’s Movement and World Orphans. Pray for wisdom for discussions Anita is involved in as she serves as Russian Ministries missionary with World Orphans and 4-14 Global Children’s Movement. Pray for orphans waiting to be adopted and for more people who will pray for orphans worldwide. Pray that increased numbers of people will adopt orphans with disabilities in Russia and the Ukraine.

ChandelIer CleanIng: Ever wonder how the chandeliers at East Campus get cleaned? Join a group of both men and women volunteers on Saturday, May 18 at 8:30 a.m. for a few hours of easy work, fellowship and refreshment. Come when you can and leave when you must.

austrIa applICatIons Greatly needed: godly men to help minister to young male refugees seeking asylum in Austria Sept. 13-28. For more information, Call Tom/Sue Tristano (630.267.3932). Applications are due in the church office by Monday, May 6.

lazarus house shelter meal makers needed. Second Wed. of the month May-Sept. Everything’s provided but you! Families, small groups or individuals welcome to pitch in when schedules allow. roYal famIlY kIds Spa Day volunteers are needed. Spa Day is Tuesday, June 11. Volunteers arrive around noon and stay through the afternoon. It is a great way to serve these young ladies by giving them the royal treatment. If you are interested in helping please contact Leanne Gramley at [email protected].

roYal famIlY kIds needs lots of hands to help with the laundry after camp. If you are willing to wash and dry a bag of bedding over the weekend of June 14th, please contact Ellen Patton at [email protected].

serVants are needed the week of VBS in a variety of capacities including guides, drama, crafts, games and preschool. Not here June 24-28? A big need we have this year is for sets and props that need to be done ahead of time - a great project for a group of friends!
