Farewell Reception for Pastor Dan BakerAfter over eight years serving as a pastor at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea, Pastor Daniel D. Baker has resigned to accept a call to serve as Executive Director of Mount Carmel Ministries in Alexandria, MN. Pastor Baker’s last Sunday at First Lutheran Church will be April 15, 2012.On that Sunday, Pastor Baker will be preaching at all three morning services—at 8:00 am, 9:15 am and 10:30 am. There will be special refreshments served in the Gathering Space between the worship services. At about 11:45 am there will be a light luncheon served for church members in Pastor Baker’s honor in Bethany Hall.Then at about 12:30 pm, a brief program honoring Pastor Baker and his family will begin a dessert reception for the general public to say farewell to Pastor Baker and thank him for his ministry in the community. Farewell Reception for Pastor Dan BakerAfter over eight years serving as a pastor at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea, Pastor Daniel D. Baker has resigned to accept a call to serve as Executive Director of Mount Carmel Ministries in Alexandria, MN. Pastor Baker’s last Sunday at First Lutheran Church will be April 15, 2012.On that Sunday, Pastor Baker will be preaching at all three morning services—at 8:00 am, 9:15 am and 10:30 am. There will be special refreshments served in the Gathering Space between the worship services. At about 11:45 am there will be a light luncheon served for church members in Pastor Baker’s honor in Bethany Hall.Then at about 12:30 pm, a brief program honoring Pastor Baker and his family will begin a dessert reception for the general public to say farewell to Pastor Baker and thank him for his ministry in the community.
