Geoff attended the State University of NY at Buffalo and graduated with a BA in Documentary Filmmaking. Library Lecture Series Produced by Kevin Lynch This month, local historian Michael McNaught from the Falmouth Historical Society discusses African-American soldiers and their involvement in the Civil War, highlighting their achievements and the significant contribution to the war effort. Green First Produced by Erika Hahn The third episode in this series covers a case study of a private utility in Littleton, Massachusetts and the effort to create an affordable sewer project for a city and a small town. Members of the utility explain to the stakeholders and policy makers the need to come together to create workable solutions. Floral Designs Made Easy With Anna Produced by Valerie May Douglas This month Anna Holmes does something a little different - making home décor and gift pieces using foliage and flowering plants. The DWest Show Produced by Erika Hahn Mashpee fine artist painter Devin Westland explores some expressionism art pieces as well as examples of scratch board techniques with guests fine artist Michele Kennedy and Marc Leitzel. Follow this interesting, informal discussion of the life of an artist with synesthesia as Devin explains why “This is my reality.” Ballroom Dance 2012 Produced by Ellen Brodsky This program showcases local ballroom dancers on Cape Cod. Couples dance to swing, salsa, cha cha and more.

This month at FCTV…. On March 27 at 4:00pm, Totally Trivia Jr is all about internet MEMEs! Q: What’s a MEME? A: “An idea, behavior or style that spreads from person to person within a culture.” Brush up on your viral web knowledge and make sure to tune in for the show! The hosts ask questions, you call in with the right answer and win a prize!

Mindy Todd, host and producer of The Point on WCAI, conducted a one-evening workshop on Thursday, February 9, focusing be on techniques for conducting a fruitful interview for both studio and field projects.

Topics covered: hosting, installation, using themes, organizing your content, menus, and some helpful Drupal modules such as calendars, galleries, and more. Thursdays: March 22, 29; April 5, 12, 7:00 - 9:00 pm *Fee: $75.00 for FCTV members, $125.00 for non-members CMS 101* Build A Better Website: An overview of popular content management systems in use today that allow non-technical people to maintain and update their websites themselves - quickly and from almost any location that has an internet connection. Drupal, Joomla and Wordpress will be demonstrated, discussed, compared and contrasted. Thursdays: March 15; June 19, 6:00 - 9:00 pm *Fee: $25.00 for FCTV members, $35.00 for non-members.
