BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENINGS TO BEGIN We’ll resume blood pressure screenings on January 4th following the Saturday evening mass. Thank you to Jan Bruehl, Stephanie Rider and Coleen Fitzgerald for volunteering to help with the screenings.
Screenings will also be held in-between the 9:00 and 11:45 mass on January 5th. Thank you to volunteers Rita Allen, Cynthia Gooch, Autumn Estes, Barbra King, Pat Culbert and Caryl Prati.
Start the new year right and on a healthy note. Get your blood pressure checked.

Sacrificial Giving Annual Renewal
This year our Stewardship & Administration Commission has strongly recommended placing renewed emphasis on giving online or through automatic bank drafts. These methods allow everyone the opportunity to get the full benefits that come from tithing whether or not they are actually able to be in our church every Sunday. Think about it.

Discipleship & Evangelization
GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR SERVICE
We will be needing servers and helpers for the Little Christmas Dinner Dance on Sunday, January 5th. Not only will you get credit for being of service, there will be tips to earn. If you can help, please contact Mama Dee or Janie Mitchell as soon as possible.
NO LIFE NIGHT ON JAN 1ST
SAFE ENVIRONMENT TRAINING
Sunday, Jan 5th at 10:30 am in the McConnell room
Do you have a child attending discipleship formation classes? Do you use the nursery? Do you want to be able to work with the youth of our parish? We are always looking for parents or other volunteers who can help with classes, lead small groups with the youth, chaperone youth events or volunteer in the nursery. A principal requirement for any of these services is certification through the safe environment program. The training is short and to the point. Hope you can participate.
ALPHA RETREAT DAY
For Middle Schoolers & Parents
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 29TH
1:15 PM IN JOYCE CENTER
This was originally scheduled for January 5th but that
is the date on which we will be preparing the Joyce
Center for the Little Christmas Dinner Dance. If we
pushed it forward to January 12th, four weeks would
have passed between sessions which would have
interrupted our momentum. We are very aware that
the children are on Christmas break from school, but
also aware that Sundays are still to be kept Holy. The
Dec. 29th retreat will begin with a full meal. There will
be two videos and an extended time for prayer. The
retreat time will end before 4pm. May we ask that you
adjust your calendars accordingly. Thanks so much
for any changes you may have to make to
accommodate this important event.
