Chloe Trujillo: Artist, Musician, Mom, Designer, Rock Wife, Healer, Channel, Published Author, Chloe
Trujillo was born into the Parisian Fashion World.
Born and raised in Paris by fashion designer parents and classical musician grandparents, Chloe Trujillo
grew up surrounded by music, beauty, art and design. Fascinated by science, she took a different path.
Both her parents were very successful designers, but after a long quest, from becoming a licensed pilot
at fourteen after living in the metro with punks, to studying matter structure and quantum mechanics at
Pierre et Marie Curie University, it’s in the fine Arts that Chloe found her first Passion - spending hours
sketching and painting at the Louvre, in the streets, in the metro of course and in her room... She began
studying matter structure and quantum mechanics at university and after graduating was eventually
drawn back to the arts. She has enjoyed success as a fine artist, designer and musician.
Chloe creates her complex, layered, deeply saturated artwork with joy and spontaneity. By allowing the
text, symbols, colors and composition to flow through her and onto the canvas, she releases herself from
preconceived notions and taps into pure creativity. Inspired by the vast range of human experience
along with a deep connection to the spiritual realm, Chloe connects with her audience through the
beauty of her visions, the intensity of her soulful emotions and sincerity of her intention. She knows that
creating something with passion and purpose infuses it with that energy. Her goal is to inspire, awaken,
touch and uplift others with her work. Her creations have been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in
Paris, Los Angeles, New York City, Vancouver, Berlin and San Francisco.
This passion soon opened the path to another one: Music. Exposed to it from her Opera touring
bass/baritone grandfather, Chloe quickly started singing in bands ranging from underground death metal
to RnB and classical...even joining a gospel choir. Eventually, she began acknowledging and
documenting the original lyrics and melodies that flowed through her while painting, driving and in her
day-to-day life, developing her own style of gypsy-punk-blues-metal rock. She opened for Missing Persons
in summer 2015 and is currently finishing her first solo album.
With her very long hair (she never had it cut since she was born), Chloe always uses scarves as a way to
create art. Some have called her hair styles a living, ever-evolving sculpture! So what better way to
translate her spiritual visions exploration onto beautiful, mystical and colorful silk scarves? And that’s
how her eponymous line was born, securing Colette in Paris as her first international concept store.
Continuously growing, her line has now expanded to high-end handbags as well as women’s pret-a-
porter collection which she successfully presented at New York Fashion week in February of 2016.
Chloe lives in Los Angeles with her husband, the musician Robert Trujillo, and their two children. She
balances her time between art, music, fashion and family, always excited for the new opportunities each
project brings.
Her work has been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in Paris, Los Angeles and San Francisco. She is
also currently a featured artist at the Imitate Gallery in London, and upcoming exhibitions include:
Hamilton Gallery, Santa Monica, CA- July 2
London- September Fashion Week
