To the Returning Officer appointed under section 11 of the Barbuda Local Government Act, Cap. 44. GREETINGS: WHEREAS pursuant to section 14(2) of the Barbuda Local Government Act Cap. 44, the last election was held on Tues-day the 24th March, 2015; and

WHEREAS pursuant to section 14(2) of the said Act an election shall be held at regular intervals of two years between each election, to elect five members of the Barbuda Council to fill the seats left vacant by the retiring group of five members of the Council; and WHEREAS it is provided by section 13(1) (b) of the said Act that the Governor-General shall appoint a date to hold an election for the purpose of section 14(2) of that Act; NOW, THEREFORE, I, SIR DR. - Coordinate all protocol related activities within

the Government of Antigua and Barbuda; includ-ing the distribution and delegation of duties, sec-ond and assist the Senior and other Protocol Of-ficers activities;

- Write and check notes and official correspond-ences of the Government of Antigua and Barbuda Bank for and behalf of the Government of Anti-gua and Barbuda in particular the Ministry of For-eign Affairs, such as letters to Heads of State, Prime Ministers, and other international dignitar-ies, etc;

- Design the Protocol Unit’s work programs; de-velop and supervise budgetary expenditures for protocol activities;

- Coordinate the work done in various sections of the unit;

- Coordinate protocol services during all official

events hosted by or attended by the Head of State, the Prime Minister, members of Parliament and Cabinet of the Government of Antigua and Bar-buda, and any other visiting delegation, all attend-ing dignitaries, to any important meetings, or events organized by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda or those being held under its auspi-ces;

- Maintain relations with the host country and their protocol offices and manage the privileges and immunities granted to the Head of State, the Prime Minister, members of Parliament and Cab-inet of the Government of Antigua and Barbuda, and any other dignitary;

- To advise and assist employees within the various Ministries, government agencies and such other offices as may be identified with the diplomatic and legal practices;

- Work actively in the preparation of the official media and negotiating conferences and meetings organized by the Government of Antigua and Bar-buda and any other dignitaries;

- Coordinate training programs on diplomatic prac-tices with the office of the Head of the State, the Prime Minister and offices of all Ministries and Government agencies and such the offices within the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.

Scope: 1.1 This Code of Practice describes the requirements for organic production. It covers plant production, animal husbandry, beekeeping, collection of wild products and aquaculture, and also the processing and labelling of products derived from these activities. It provides a mechanism to define the expectations for organic production. It applies to any operator involved in activities, at any stage of production, preparation, processing and distribution, relating to the organic products. When complied with, it also enables producers to label their products as organic.

1.2 A product will be regarded as bearing indications referring to organic production methods where, in the labelling or claims, including advertising material or commercial documents, the product, or its ingredients, is described by the terms "or-ganic", “biodynamic”, "biological", "ecological", or words of similar intent including diminutives which, in the country where the product is placed on the market, suggests to the purchaser that the product or its ingredients were obtained according to organic production methods. 1.3 This Code of Practice applies without prejudice to other regional or national provisions governing the production, preparation, processing, marketing, labelling, inspection and control, including legislation on foodstuffs and animal nutrition of the products specified herein.
