Congregation BJBE Caring Community is pleased to sponsor the final program in
our series on planning and options for caring for your loved ones.
Sometimes it’s all about the motivation, and sometimes it’s about
needing to know how to do something. This talk is intended to help
audience members understand the big “why.” Why is it so important to
plan for the future instead of just reacting to it? Learn how to have
these often difficult conversations, with tips that cover a range of topics
from generational communication differences to using humor and
stories to convey concerned. Presented by Erin Marcus, CARING
TRANSITIONS.
ERIN MARCUS
ERIN IS THE AUTHOR OF THE BOOK “TALKING ABOUT THE END IS ONLY
THE BEGINNING.CONVERSATIONS EVERY CHILD MUST HAVE WITH THEIR
AGING PARENTS.”
SHE HAS SPENT MORE THAN 15 YEARS WORKING WITH FAMILIES AS THEY
NAVIGATE THE DIFFERENT ASPECTS AND UNIQUE CHALLENGES FACED BY
AGING LOVED ONES. HER BUSINESS, CARING TRANSITIONS, ASSISTS

Rituals of old fill our hearts Stories and song make our cares depart,
The Seder calls, as so long ago, to make us rejoice in the freedom we know.
Women of all ages gather, our numbers are strong. So we join to worship and praise in song.
In a Seder for generations, the idea’s not new, but it means so much
when we share it with you!

Mid-Month Mailer Opt-Out
We hope you enjoy receiving the Mid-Month Mailer each month detailing the fun
and informative events happening here at Congregation BJBE. Because we don’t
want you to miss out on anything, we continue to update and streamline our
congregational communications to best fit your needs.
Since last May, we have been offering the Mid-Month flyers online on the BJBE
website. There is a link on our website at www.bjbe.org that you can click to view
the most up-to-date version of the Mid-Month flyers. In addition, we will send an
email reminder to those who have opted out of the paper version.
This change not only gives you access to the latest BJBE information when you
want it, but also cuts down on paper usage and postage. We can save a few trees
and a few dollars each month. It is a win-win situation!
You can Opt-Out of the paper Mid-Month Mailer by calling or emailing Elaine
Wexler at [email protected] or 847-940-7575.
NOTE: If you do not choose to opt-out, you will continue to receive
your paper version of the Mid-Month Mailer via the US Mail.
Thank you for your continued support.
