TALONG FESTIVAL
Thousands of local and foreign tourists flocked to Villasis, Pangasinan to
witness theTalong (Eggplant) Festival in this agricultural town,the Vegetable Basket of the North.
The festival was part of the towns January fiesta celebration. Among the
highlights were the inauguration of the Villasis Vegetable Trading Post or
Bagsakan and the setting up of a one-kilometer-long Talong Grill to help
the town establish its own identity. Almost 1.5 kilometers of grilled talong
were grilled on the national highway of Villasis and thousands of tourists
enjoyed the grilled egetable with rice. A demonstra-tion called 101 Ways to
Cook Talong was also held.

GALICAYO FESTIVAL
The Galicayo Festival is a province-wide cultural and religious celebration
in honor of Pangasinans patroness, Our Lady of Manaoag.
Back in the late 1500's, an apparition of the Virgin Mary was believed tocall on the people to build a church. The term manaoag, which means "tocall", was then attributed to the town and eventually became its officialname. The Dominicans viewed the appearance of the apparition as amiraculous event and they were inspired to build the church of Our Lady ofManaoag. The church's foundation, coupled with the story behind it, madeManaoag the religios center of Pangasinan.
The people of Manaoag decided to hold a feast in honor of their patronsaint, which was named as the Galicayo Festival.

BANGUS FESTIVAL
The Bangus Festival is one of the major and most exciting festivals in the Philippinesworth visiting and coming back for.
The yearly euphoria envelops the city of Dagupan with a high level of excitement as thestreet dancers, in their most striking costumes, depict the harvest of bangus. The Bangus Festival was conceptualized in August 2001 during the first year of MayorBenjamin S. Lim's term. It was subsequently launched in 2002 as a part of the annualPista'y Dayat celebration.
Today, the Festival has created a mark and culture of its own, earning for itself a globalreputation. And in a reversal of roles, the Pista'y Dayat has been made part of the morepopular Bangus Festival. Undeniably, the Bangus Festival has become the bestadvertisement for the world's tastiest milkfish.

DUMAYO FESTIVAL
Urdaneta City celebrates Dumayo Festival annually to give thanks for the
blessings that the city has received throughout the years.
Other activities that gave meaning to the celebration were: Basbas ng Pag-iisang Dibdib (free mass wedding),bloodletting activity, tree planting forenvironment preservation,jobs fair and fun run for a cause.
Some of the highlight of this event are the grand parade where carabaosadorned with various ornaments were featured. And the street dancersfrom the city and street dancers (guest) from other municipality.

PISTAY DAYAT
Pista'y Dayat Festival (sea festival) is a thanksgiving festival observed
every April in Lingayen, Pangasinan. It celebrates the bountiful harvest andabundant fishing from the sea. The events feature mass offering on
beautiful beaches and fluvial parade. From being a local thanksgiving
festival, Pista'y Dayat has grown into Pangasinan's grandest festivity. It
lasts for two weeks and is held at the Lingayen Beach. Among the
anticipated events in the festival is the grand parade of Pangasinan
festivals wherein the nine well-known festivities of the province are featured,
namely Galicayo Festival ofManaoag, Pandan Festival ofMapandan,
Longganisa Festival ofAlaminos, Sugpo Festival ofBinmaley, Mango andBamboo Festival ofSan Carlos City, Puto Festival ofCalasiao, Binongey
Festival ofAnda,Sawali Festival of Labrador, and Pista'y Dayat.

PUTO FESTIVAL
The town of Calasiao, aside from being famous for its miraculous shrine ofSeor Divino Tesoro is also touted as the center of Best Puto in thecountry.
It was under Mayor Roy Macanlalay in cooperation with the towns putomakers that the first Calasiao Puto Festival was held on Dec. 28, 2002.
Puto here is considered as the white gold of the town and sold 24 hours aday along the rows of stalls at the town proper . It is so delicious becausethis peso-size product is soft as a marshmallow, white as a snow, and has
a distinct taste and the secrets of cooking it remain unrevealed up to nowby its makers.
The event has encouraged Pangasinenses and those living outside topatronize locally made products.

PATUPAT FESTIVAL
The Pozorrubio Pangasinan celebrated its annual fiesta and this year, it ishighlighted with their famous product which is the Patupat a nativedelicacy made from sticky rice and wrapped in coconut leaves. It is cookedin boiling sugarcane-juice. It is served with melted panocha or pakasiat.
And because their town is known for making patupat, they named theiryearly fiesta as Patupat Festival. Like other festivities in town, they alsocelebrated it with full of enjoyable activities, dancing, singing and lots ofcompetition.
To show the unity of the people of Pozorrubio, they prepare the threehundred meters (300m) long table filled with Patupat and they eat together.
Another part of the celebration is the eating patupat contest. The main goalof this contest is: all the contestants will race to eat one patupat and aftereating, the contestant must whistle and that is the sign that he/she alreadydone. The fastest contestant to finish eating patupat will win.

Mangunguna Festival
Bolinao Pangasinan holds grand fiesta named Mangunguna Festival. InBolinao mangunguna means a fisherman. They celebrate MangungunaFestival to give tribute to the fishing and aquaculture industry of the town,which is the number one source of livelihood of the community in Bolinao. It
is a one week celebration from April 9 to April 14.

CORN FESTIVAL
Every March 26th, the residents of Sto. Tomas, Pangasinan grill more than6,000 ears of corn on the roadside as they celebrate the Corn Festivalcoinciding with the towns 103rd founding anniversary yesterday, Friday.
Locally known as the town Fiesta, various festivities are held tocommemorate and honor the chosen Patron Saint. Majority of town fiestas
are celebrated during the month of May, the midst of summer vacation andthe time when the festival of Flores de Mayo is held.

Sigay Festival
One of the highlights of BinmaleySigay Festival is the Fluvial Parade where
various Motor boats from different Barangays of Binmaley participated.
Fluvial Parade was scheduled January 28, 2012, it was also the date of the
arrival of the Peoples champ Manny Pacquiao for the opening of Triangle I
Project and the newly renovated museum of Binmaley.
