This tradition will be presented by Rosa Farm Women Society.

Parking lot at Laško Cultural CenterIn December, a magic ice rink is placed on the parking lot at Laško Cultural Center. Admission to the ice rink is free and you can borrow ice skates for a symbolic price of €1. Beside the ice rink, food and drinks are available.
ST NICHOLAS FAIR AND CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH-ONSunday, 1/12 at 5 p.m.Parking lot at Laško Cultural CenterDo not miss this rich and traditional St Nicholas fair, offering various homemade goods and traditional St Nicholas gifts. The smell of mulled wine and sweets will fill you with the Christmas
spirit. Children will see the arrival of St Nicholas and Christmas lights will be switched on. Numerous lights will give the town a festive glow, marking the beginning of the festive December and various events.

On St Stephen's day, horse blessing takes place on the Aškerčev trg square. On the feast day of St Stephen, patron of animals, horses are blessed in front of St Martin's church. Horse owners and horsemen ride to the ceremony to keep their horses healthy throughout the year.
