Employee Engagement Committee Application The deadline for submitting a completed Employee Engagement Committee application is Wednesday, June 12, 2019. We have received several questions regarding the new City of Dallas Employee Engagement Committee. In an effort to provide more information about the committee, and how it will work separate and apart from Employee Advisory Councils (EACs), we would like to provide you with the following information: The newly formed Employee Engagement Committee is not meant to detract from nor to duplicate the efforts of the EACs. The scope of the Employee Engagement Committee will be to review offerings, processes, programs, and materials for Human Resource related matters such as health benefits, wellness initiatives, communications, recognition, etc. as well as provide insight into what employees need and what their preferences may be as it relates to those topics. This information will be coordinated between the committee and the leadership of Human Resources. The purpose of the EACs is to assist in gathering and leveraging employee input and they may meet with the City Manager to improve the workplace. The scope of the EACs is to strengthen communications within the organization by promoting an inclusive environment and establishing a positive diverse workplace to address emerging employee concerns. The focus is to look within their department to identify and address matters. The EACs partner with external stakeholders and process owners to address/resolve matters. The deadline for submitting a completed Employee Engagement Committee application is Wednesday, June 12, 2019.

We have received several questions regarding the new City of Dallas Employee Engagement Committee. In an effort to provide more information about the committee, and how it will work separate and apart from Employee Advisory Councils (EACs), we would like to provide you with the following information:

The newly formed Employee Engagement Committee is not meant to detract from nor to duplicate the efforts of the EACs.
