I can take my students on a virtual tour of the earth; I can show them different countries and some of the wonders all over the world. Google Earth is not a simple program but I have used it before and there are so many different options I

am sure it will amaze my students

Economicshttp://

www.kidsmathgamesonline.com/money.html

This website does not provide a real virtual field trip; it was quite difficult to find one for

Economics. however, this website does have games that can be played virtually as a class to

help students learn about money, and how important it is to manage it.

Geography Red Rock Search & Rescue

Members of Las Vegas Red Rock search and rescue live among us and provide a great

service to us. It would be nice to have a rescuer come in and speak to the students about the beautiful mountains we have nearby and the

safety precautions necessary for a nice day out in the mountains.

1. Explain which field trip you are most excited about.

I am most excited to take my students to the Hoover Dam, it is somewhere that I have been before and the experience has stayed with me through the years. You can really see the history and feel the changes that have occurred in Southern Nevada by visiting these places. The Hoover Dam tour is one that actually takes in you in and around to see the sights that were built so many years ago.

2. What challenges did you run into during this assignment?

Deciding on who can come in for a tour. I never realized how complicated and difficult it is to plan a field trip. There are forms and so much planning that go into field trips. I am not sure how well I did on this assignments, I felt that I needed more pointers.
