Benefit Payments• Waiting Period: The one week waiting period for benefit payments has been waived, so you should
not have to wait any period of time before being eligible to receive benefits.
• Benefit Calculation: The state will determine your weekly benefits based on your 50-60% of your average weekly earnings during a 6 to 12-month period.
• Colorado Unemployment Benefits Estimator: http://www.coworkforce.com/uibEstimator/
• Maximum Weekly Benefit Payment: $618 + $600 CARES Act benefit
• Your state unemployment payment will be based on the Benefit Calculation above, and may be less than $618, depending on your base-period wages, and any earnings you have from other employers during Marvin's week long shutdown.
• As long as you are eligible for any amount of state unemployment benefits, you will also receive the $600/week emergency relief payment under CARES for any week of unemployment prior to July 31, 2020.
• We do not yet know the timing of when the CARES Act payments will be received.
• Even if you were previously told that you had exhausted unemployment benefits, you should apply:
• The CARES Act makes employees eligible for an additional 13 weeks of unemployment benefits through December 31, 2020.
• Any of the additional 13 weeks of benefits received prior to July 31, 2020 include state benefits and the extra $600 payment.
