August 21, 2014, Montreal, Quebec—Filthy Haanz, the Québec based fashion label charters Far East for SS2015. Notable for the delivery of a highly sophisticated, yet raw and untamed ready-to-wear resort collection Filthy Haanz has been driven by the changing landscape in consumer lifestyles, which today is driven by young professionals.
For Spring/Summer 2015 creative director Wilber Tellez voyaged out Far East and drew inspiration from the vibrant city of Mumbai, India. “The raw sights, sounds, and textures off the streets led me to believe this city, its people and culture, were the epitome of our brand and the GOLD lifestyle. The Bollywood sophistication and glamour juxtaposed by raw and untamed styles off the everyday people.” For Spring/Summer 2015 under the continued direction of Wilber Tellez, Filthy Haanz unveils Bollywood Graffiti to the North American fashion market.
The latest collection will continue to deliver a full lineup of men’s/women’s premium resort-ready pieces. Women will discover an assortment of vibrant swimwear, cocktail dresses, and skirts in premium fabric such as light silk and soft-handkerchief cotton to name just a few, whilst the men’s division will include blazers, button-ups, jeans, and linens. Consumers can expect the first delivery of items to hit stores in February with prices ranging from $100 (essential tees) to $900 (blazers and dresses).
For two years now Filthy Haanz GOLD has delivered a lifestyle of “untamed- sophistication,” driven by a changing consumer landscape. “We’re tapping into a specific and exciting market,” says designer Wilber Tellez, “one that takes individuals from 7pm-6am, compared to your typical 9-5.” GOLD is for the individual who attends the downtown dinner, and can easily transition into the party, and after-party.
