PRODUCT SHOWCASE:AIR POLLUTION CONTROL
COMPACT MISTCOLLECTORUnited Air Specialists, Inc., hasintroduced the MSH mist collectoras the newest addition to its SmogHog line of electrostatic precipitators (ESP). Measuring at only 27" x
21" x 20", the compact MSH isequipped with a large-capacity ESPcollection cell that captures three tofour times the amount offumes thansimilar systems-leading to fewercleanings and added cost savings.
The Smog-Hog MSH utilizes a variable-speed drive motor, producing airvolume up to 500 CFM that enablesusers to adjust airflow and overallenergy use as needed. Additionally, theMSH uses a heavy-dutymist-stop coalescingpre-filter and metal mesh afterfilter for maximum contaminant collection. The Smog-Hog MSH is idealfor mist collection applications suchas metal drilling, CNC machining, screw machines, plastic extruding, andfinishing. Accessories include mounting installation kits, drain bottle, anddrain loop assembly. The compactMSH arrives fully assembled andready for installation directly onto amachining center or suspended fromthe ceiling. It is extremely quiet, withsound levels less than 72 dBA, and isavailable in horizontal and verticalmounting configurations. For moreinformation, call (800) 252-4647 orvisit www.uasinc.com/MSH.aspx.

NPB SOLVENT RECOVERY SYSTEMParts Cleaning Technologies has apatent-pending process using carbonadsorption to recover nPB solventused in vapor degreasing, coatings, and carrier fluid applications. Thisnew technology has been field testedfor many months to validate theprocess. Recovery of fugitive solventemissions reduces operational costs, reduces workplace exposure levels, and assists in meeting environmental compliance. These emissions arecaptured in a newly designed carbonadsorption system and recovered forfurther use in the original processsystem.
In reclaiming this solvent, the system quickly pays for itself in solventsavings. The savings are realized inreduced new solvent purchases, reduced hazardous waste disposal, and reduced fugitive emission lossesthat are now captured. The additionof a carbon adsorber to your existing solvent system will reduce emissive losses and lower worker exposure levels.
