    2. Conduct verbal presentation

    This is a follow up meeting since the proposal has been implemented.Give a short recap of the proposal.

    Report on Conflicts and Challenges due to the changes and how you

    helped resolve the conflicts. Please give examples of the conflicts and

    challenges that came from:

    o Few staff are not happy with the changes and new supervisors

    o Few new supervisors are concerned by new responsibilities and

    reaction of other staff

    o Hurt feelings of family members whose roles have been

    changed

    Also present the solutions you designed and implemented, including

    how you coached the new supervisors to manage these conflicts and

    challenges, to set goals. Report as well as the progress due to such

    solutions.

    3. Role-play one effective conflict management meeting between one HR

    consultant and one unhappy family member; Showing the consultant

    using conflict prevention techniques such as:

    7-step model

    I statements

    Managing expectations

    Focusing on others first

    Guidelines:

    Every group member speaks before Q&A; One or more can present

    the recap of proposal, one or more can present the conflicts and

    solutions, at least two need to do the role play.

    Powerpoint Presentation in English

    English (with some Bahasa Indonesia if needed) for presenting

    Each group : 20-25 minutes including Question & Answer session

    Powerpoint presentation final hard copy to be submitted right

    before the group make the verbal group presentation

    Remember what is my audiences needs, wants and interests and

    concerns !

    1. Avoid going into too many details. Do keep in mind : if you

    are the audience, what do you want to know so that you can

    make a decision ?

    2. Does your plan answers the who, what, where, when and

    why questions ?

    Refer to notes, syllabus, reference for more information on

    business proposal writing
