Away from the maddening pace of the city, this tour offers a glimpse of the rural and traditional Hong Kong. Visit the Yuen Yuen Institute, a large monastery complex housing the three predominant local religions Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. Afterwards, go up to Tai Mo Shan, highest mountain of Hong Kong, for a spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding areas. Next stop is where you need binoculars. In the distance lies the border village of Sha Tau Kok and nearby a protected bird sanctuary where Chinese Pond Herons can be seen. Night Herons and even the rare Swinnoe's Egrets are also known to nest here. A stop at a fish-farming zone at Sam Mun Tsai is next followed by lunch served at one of the famous restaurant in Sha Tin.

In the event of cancellation, a refund of the total registration fee paid (minus a 25% administration fee) will be made, on provision of a written notice received by the Secretariat on or before 27th September 2013. After this date, no refund can be made for cancellation. Please note that all refunds will be issued only after the meeting. In case of cancellation due to bad weather or other uncontrollable factors, no refund will be entertained.
