Bandinfo
Final Horizon, from Johanngeorgenstadt, do a strong mix of singing
rock and progressive music.
Starting as half acoustic and half electric quartet with some cover songs on
birthday-parties in august 2008 becomes a polyphonic singing acoustic rock
band with musically focus on their own compositions.
Immediately the band released their first album with help from a funding project
in the end of 2009.
In the year 2011 one song from this album attained radio.
The song “as long as I can play” was mostly voted in the competition “mission
rock” of radio station R.SA. The Band gets the award “best rock band of
Saxony”.
In 2013 the band gets an order from handball team EHV-Aue to compose a
song for them. This was the first time that a song was composed and played
with drums.
Since then the band has five bandmates.
In 2015 Final Horizon released there actually album, “long lasting fire”.
They are doing a lot of shows in Hamburg, Bamberg, Munich and all around
Germany.
Irina, Kay, Marcel, Silvio and Daniel don’t let them typecast in any genre.
Several influences and models from every period let arise Final Horizon to what
they are!
