On behalf of all the faculty members of IMI-Kolkata, I would like to thank all the corporates who havebeen recruiting our students, some of the best in the country, from our campus. IMI has always thrived
to be among the top Business schools in India and has further grown in stature with the addition of its
Kolkata campus.
IMI-Kolkata produced its first batch of 22 graduating students in the year 2013. This year as many as

IMI-Kolkata has one of the best faculty-student ratios in the country. The faculty members are doctorates from
academic institutes. They also have enhanced industrial exposure to ensure that the learning is never outdated. Ho

Dr. Ahindra Chakrabarti was Head of Finance, Accounting and Banking, IMI, New Delhi, entrusted with the directorship of IMI-Kolkata. He has worked at MDI Gurgaon for over 18 yea

Evanston, USA, on a UNDP fellowship. He has held positions as Director, IILM, New Delhi, aGeneral, Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB). He has also taught as visiting fa

Commission, World Bank, ILO, National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language, St
Hyderabad and Damodar Valley Corporation. He has designed and delivered training progra

Dr. Chatterjee has B.Com (Hons.) and M Com degrees from the University of Burdwan and stood first with
a first class at both the levels for which he obtained two Gold Medals. He has received many other
prestigious awards from the University for his academic excellence. He also has a PGDBA in financial
management from Symbiosis, Pune. He has earned his PhD from Burdwan University in Financial
Restructuring through Buyback of Shares, for which he obtained the best research award in Finance Track
in the 3rd Doctoral Colloquium from IIM Ahmedabad in 2010. His doctoral dissertation is published in theform of a book by a n international publisher based on Germany. He has published several research papers,

Tirthankar Nag holds a doctorate from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India. He is Dean(Academics) at IMI-Kolkata in and teaches courses on Strategic Management, Managing Consulting
Engagements and Developing Infrastructure Businesses. Tirthankar has taught courses at IIM
Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta and IIM Kashipur as visiting faculty. He has been also invited to teach at IIM
Ranchi. He is guiding a number of doctoral candidates. He has authored several books, book chapters,
peer reviewed papers in international journals and a number of papers in collaboration with Stanford
University. He has received several awards from IIM Ahmedabad for his academic work (ChaudharyPadmanabhan Pant Award & Sahir Memorial Award), and holds a certificate from the World Bank
Institute. Tirthankar has received many international grants for his research and has presented in
international conferences. He also holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Jadavpur
University. Tirthankar has worked as a consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, and SBICAPS
dealing with strategy, policy and regulatory advisory. He also has considerable experience of working with
CESC Ltd. He has 16 years of experience across management consulting, investment banking, utilities,teaching and research. He has also provided advisory services to a host of Indian and International

Professor Sanjay Dhamija teaches Financial Management at IMI-Kolkata. He is currently the Chairperson of Finance and Accounting Area
at IMI. He has over 17 years of industry experience in various organizations of repute including over 10 years in senior managementpositions. He has worked in reputed organization like ABN AMRO Asia Equities (India) Ltd., HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India)
Private Limited, Escorts Finance Limited, DCM Shriram Leasing & Finance Limited and MMTC of India Limited.
He has over 9 years experience in academics. Prior to joining IMI, he was working with MDI as Associate Professor. He is a trainer andconsultant to many organizations in government, public and private sector. He has authored two books in the area of Financial
Management and Financial Accounting.
Prof. Mehra teaches advertising and sales promotion, and retail marketing at IMI-Kolkata. He has spent over two decades in diverse
sectors, ranging from FMCG to durables and semi-durables, in senior Marketing role, before entering academics over a decade and half
ago. His corporate experience also spans three years spent in an overseas assignment where he was responsible for turning around a sickcompany. He is credited with successful brand launches and project executions, besides successfully managing profit-centre
responsibilities. His other interests include corporate training and marketing consultancy. Before moving to IMI, he was associated with all
the leading Business Schools in Delhi NCR as faculty.
Dr. Rizvi teaches organizational behaviour and HR at IMI-Kolkata. He is a professor of leadership and change management at IMI Delhi.
Prior to joining IMI, he has been a professor and director at IILM Graduate School of Management. In a career spanning 23 years, he has
taught, trained, researched and consulted with corporations. As a researcher, Dr. Rizvi has supervised many doctoral thesis and haspublished extensively in peer reviewed journals in India and abroad. He has led various research and consulting projects sponsored by Aus
AID-Australia, DFID-UK, SDC Switzerland, WHO, and World Bank. He is a visiting professor of Organizational Behaviour for the MBA
programmes at the National Graduate School of Management, Australian National University, Canberra; Shanghai University; andInternational School of Management, Dakar, Senegal, and other universities. He has lectured and offered seminars in several countries
around globe. He is a recipient of many awards, including Vice-Chancellor's Award for merit position in MSc, Rotary Youth Leadership
Award, and the US Department of State Fellowship under Future Leaders Programme.
Dr. Srivastava teaches leadership development at IMI-Kolkata. His areas of interest are organizational development and change
management, organizational design and restructuring, participative management, human resource management policy and strategy,
normative approach to industrial relations and training & development. He has been involved in teaching, research and consultancyactivities in India, USA, Canada, Europe and Africa f or over four decades. He was Dean, Institute for Integrated Learning in Management,
New Delhi; Director, FORE School of Management, New Delhi; Deputy Director, Public Enterprises Centre for Continuing Education, New
Delhi; Commonwealth Advisor and Principal Consultant, Eastern and Southern African Management Institute, Arusha, Tanzania;

Dr. Vancheswar teaches strategic brand management at IMI-Kolkata. He has close to three decades of experience in industry and
academia. A doctorate from IIT Delhi in TQM relating to issues of customer focus and organizational development, he also holds a master'sdegree in management & systems from IIT Delhi and a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore,
Madras University. His corporate experience spans both large multinationals and Indian organizations, such as ABB, Dabhol Power, DLF,
GMR Group and Gammon India, in the areas of communications, marketing services, corporate identity and reputation management,
advertising, promotions, business ethics and CSR.

A company is encouraged to conduct a pre-placement talk (PPT) to highlight
available job profiles, career growth opportunities and compensation details.
After PPT, interested students would register. The company can conduct its
selection process (GD / Case Study / Test / Personal Interview) for interested
students on the same day.
In case the company cannot come for the PPT, company is requested to forward
a softcopy of their PPT which would be shared with students. CVs of interested
students (who register after going through PPT) would be forwarded to the
company. The company can then conduct their selection process (GD / Personal
Interview) through video conferencing.
