Participants will begin with a guided tour of Santa Croce, a stunning Franciscan church and the resting place of Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli, and over 270 individuals that made great contributions to music, politics, and art. Next, the group will get a firsthand look into a traditional Florentine leather workshop, where they will observe the process of leather tanning and learn leather-making secrets passed down from generations of Florentines. The sensory journey will conclude at Aquaflor, an exclusive Maison de Parfum complete with atelier and on-site laboratories in a prestigious Renaissance palazzo. Guided by a master perfumer, participants will take part in an interactive lesson on perfume making - and will immediately apply newly mastered techniques to create their own personal mini Eau de Parfum to take home! IAPCO EDGE Florence’s Post-EDGE tours are organized to allow attendees to continue networking while enjoying bespoke activities in Florence.
