The main people i asked were females. This was because i thought females would be more open to my questionnaire however i tried to be balance and ask males as well, i needed both sexes opinions on my questions for my documentary to be successful i want to aim it at both genders.

I was pleased that the people i asked did watch documentaries on channel 4 as that is the channel i am aiming my documentary at. However the fact quite a few of them watch documentaries on the other channels too, show me they are well educated and enjoy certain types of documentaries, so this will help me when making mine.

As one person adopted a pet, it shows me maybe they don't have a lot of knowledge of the dogs homes etc so i could educate them through my documentary.

I handed this specific questionnaire to 10 people who answered the general questionnaire to a standard of knowledge about questionnaires and a keen interest. So i wanted to further my knowledge about their opinions.
All of these questions are specific to the topic i want to cover in my documentary. By asking these questions and getting the questionnaire filled out, it will help me to succeed when making my documentary. I now know the things people look for in a documentary and i know that my target audience will be interested in the topic i would want to cover.
Now i have a bases to go on, and I've done specific research i can now move forward and start thinking about putting my documentary together.
