One Pill Dispensing Bottle Conor McDonnell When designers design child resistant containers they very often design in problems for other users. By relying on manual dexterity and strength they often discriminate against other users with arthritic conditions. The current standards only use adults aged 50-70 years old for testing, any of which that have manual dexterities are excluded from the test. This project attempts to redress the balance by designing an enclosure that relys on intelligent sequencing. The enclosure works two fold. It slows the rate of dispensing, buying time for discovery and introduces a sequence of operation designed to be beyond the mental facilities of the targeted age group of children for testing.
