Jan Richards, Managing Director, Head of the Private Bank at J.P. Morgan in Singapore, is responsible for expanding the business in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and India.

Prior to this position, she spent five years based in Geneva as head of the credit business for private bank clients in Asia and Switzerland. Ms. Richards started her career with J.P. Morgan in New York in 1994, and subsequently moved to Singapore in 1998 during the Asian debt crisis working on Indonesian debt restructurings. Following this assignment, she spent two years as the Branch Manager of J.P. Morgan’s Jakarta office.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Ms. Richards spent 10 years working for the US Treasury in Texas and New York. Ms. Richards holds the designation of CFA. She attended University of Missouri and attained a degree in Finance.

Matthew Tham is presently the Head of Portfolio Management, Singapore at BNP Paribas Wealth Management Singapore. He has 17 years of working experience mainly in managing discretionary portfolio management for private clients.

Prior to this, he is the Head of Portfolio Management, Singapore in UBS AG and Royal Bank of Canada (Singapore). He participates in various equity and bond Asia Investment Committees and is key in developing the discretionary portfolio business in Singapore.

He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) holder since 1997, and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and has a MBA from Western Michigan and graduated with Second Upper class Honours from University of London.

Boon Hui is currently a Senior Banker with the Investment Banking Division of OCBC Bank. As a Senior Banker, Boon Hui focuses on key relationship clients of the OCBC Group in relation to Investment Banking services which encompass the Corporate Finance, Capital Markets and Mezzanine Capital divisions.

Prior to joining OCBC, Boon Hui founded and acted as principal of Chancery Capital, which conducted a boutique M&A and corporate advisory practice in partnership with a small network of professionals.twelve years of investment banking experience in Singapore and New York with the Rothschild and BNP Paribas groups.

Gary has 10 years of private equity experience with CLSA Capital Partners and has been responsible or involved in a number of the firm’s private equity investments in Asia. He currently has specific focus for India and Southinvestments and has exited a number of the firm’s investments.

From 1996 to 2000, he was with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he performed audits as well as conducted due diligence assignments. He received a Bachelor of Accountancy from NTU in Singapore and is a CFA and CPA.

Gary also volunteers actively in CFA Singapore and is the current Chair of the Professional Development Committee and former Chair of the Networking Committee. He is currently a Board Member and Treasurer of CFA Singapore.

Yeu Huan is Head of Strategy & Research at DBSAM, where his principal responsibility is to drive excellence in the firm’s investment research and idea generation processes. In addition, he also covers the Real Estate sector in the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining DBSAM, Yeu Huan worked at Lion Capital Management, where he also covered Real Estate equities. In addition, he had equities research experience covering various other sectors with sell-side and independent research teams.

A CFA charterholder, Yeu Huan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Mr Tim Hird has worked with Robert Half International for over 10 years. In his current role, Mr Hird is responsible for the Singapore operations of Robert Half International.

Mr Hird has lived and worked in Singapore for over 3 years. During this time, he successfully started up the Robert Half business in Singapore and has helped to build the executive search, contract and project consulting practice lines, making this business one of the fastest growing within the international organisations across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Mr Hird is actively involved with a number of thought leadership initiatives in the Singapore employment market and enjoys successful partnerships with some of the leading professional associations in Singapore including ICPAS, ACCA, SiTF, CFA Singapore and the Institute of Internal Auditors of Singapore. Mr Hird is a familiar industry figure and a valuable spokesperson on current trends affecting the employment market. He holds a degree in Latin from the University of Birmingham.
