Objectives
To provide members a common professional platform for CFPCM certification and Profession
To act as the channel for spreading awareness about Financial Planning and CFPCM Certification
To act as the source of education about the latest know how and Practice Management
To act as the catalyst for improving the quality of service delivery in the profession
To act as the Nodal Agency for coordinating with the Media so as to enhance the visibility, brand
image and the credibility of the profession
To create alliances with other professional bodies / forums like Institute of Chartered Accountants,
Indian Medical Association, Council of Architecture, Bar Association, CII, FICCI, Tie Foundation etc. to
penetrate the message of Financial Planning & CFPCM Brand across communities

To organize seminars / debates / discussions on the topics of contemporary
importance and interest to its members and clients at large for Financial Planning
To bring the best speakers in the profession to expose its members and their clients
to the best practices and skills of the profession
To share the platform with other professional bodies at various events organized by
them. Simultaneously, to invite the representatives from those bodies too to the
similar events organized by the chapter
Roles and Responsibilities Of the Members
To actively work with the media by acting as the nodal resource for domain ideas on
Personal Finance
To actively work with the media for making available dedicated space and time for
the Financial Planning related stories / programs
To Initiate and run a system of ranking Financial Planning Firms / Organizations /
CFPCM Certificants. This would entail collecting and analyzing data about the
members and coming out with the best practices awards.
