    5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Open to RegistrantsFELLOWSHIP RECEPTION & GOLF CALCUTTAJoin us to socialize and network at our SignConnexion Networking Reception. MSSA will be hosting a reception that will allow you to introduce yourself and network with Sign Companies and other attendees as they look to expand their manufacturing partnerships. Dont miss this event if you are looking to bring some business back from Memphis!

    MSSA Golf Calcutta Auction will take place at approximately 6:00 p.m. Make sure to bid on your favorite golf team!

Wedgewood is an 18-hole, Par 72 Championship layout with a rating of 72.8 and a slope of 127 with soft rolling Bermuda greens. A complimentary lunch and two drink tickets will be provided.     8:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. See registration form - Cost $45THE SIGNS & SOUNDS OF MEMPHIS TOWN! TOURThe Home of the Blues comes alive on this drive through the city aboard the nations only music bus. Your guide is a professional Beale Street musician who will play and sing selections from the citys rich musical heritage while entertaining you with comedy, history, and behind-the-scenes stories of your favorite Memphis personalities. Along the way, you will drive by and learn about: Sun Studio, The Lorraine Motel, Cotton Row, Peabody Hotel, Overton Park, Historic Central Gardens, St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital and early homes of Elvis, B. B. King, and Johnny Cash.

    After our city drive, a walking tour of Beale Street, the Home of the Blues will begin. Stroll on the same street as W. C. Handy, Louis Armstrong, Muddy Waters, Albert King, Memphis Minnie, Rufus Thomas, Rosco Gordon, B. B. King and other blues and jazz legends who played on Beale Street and helped develop the style known as Memphis Blues.

    Then whether or not you play the guitar or even love guitars, you will enjoy a tour of the Gibson Guitar Factory. The Gibson Guitar Factory has helped shape the world of music for over 100 years. You will witness as Gibsons skilled luthiers craft some of the finest guitars in the world.

    3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Open to RegistrantsSEMINAR: Crane Operator Certification ForumThis seminar was developed based on the immediate need and response of a multitude of members after ISAs Crane Operator Certification webinar. This round-table, open forum will allow for Q&A on the new crane operator certification required by OSHA. We will focus on where are MSSA members on certification, and how can we help each other meet the deadline. Darin L. Hinnergardt of Altec (hosted the ISA webinar) will bring his knowledge of this OSHA mandate.Forum presented by Darin L. Hinnergardt with Altec Industries

    5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Open to RegistrantsNEW MEMBERS RECEPTIONWhen asked why a member rejoins from year to year, one explanation which always places within the top three: MSSA members enjoy being around other MSSA members. A meeting space is being provided for each new member so that other members may drop by for a visit.

    The reception is open to all members to welcome members who have been unable to attend previous MSSA function. *New members please contact MSSA (Karen@midsouthsign.org) so that a table may be reserved in your honor.

    6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Open to RegistrantsA LITTLE LESS CONVERSATION, A LITTLE MORE ACTION BUSINESS DINNERCome learn and relax while we openly discuss several short business matters and enjoy a dinner of local cuisine. ALL entries for the 2017 MSSA Sign Design Competition will be available for viewing.

    6:30 p.m. Open to RegistrantsTHE STEVE METHENY SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS, LIVE AUCTION, AND RAFFLEMSSA is proud to provide higher education financial awards to employees or dependents of employees of MSSA member firms. Fifty-one $1,500 scholarships were awarded in 2017, reflecting MSSAs total scholarship funding history reaching beyond $1,299,4720! Immediately following the presentation of scholarship awards, The Steve Metheny Scholarship Live Auction and Raffle will begin. Once again, MSSA is blessed to have Richard Clifton as our auctioneer. As the saying goes, bid high and bid often for scholarship funds are obtained through items sold during both live and silent auctions. Attendees are responsible for donating and bidding on items for the auction.
