    Learning Styles

Although its probably not something to which youve given much thought, we all haveour preferred individual way of learning. For some people, that preferred way is apractical one - learning by doing. Others may learn best by simply listening or bytaling things through with a friend, colleague or lecturer.

!he purpose of the following "uestionnaire, therefore, is to help you to identify yourindividual preferred style of learning. #n other words, its designed to provide theinformation you need to ma$imise your learning throughout your A% course.

&hen completing the "uestionnaire, you need to eep the following in mind if you areto accurately and usefully identify the style - or styles - of learning that are best suitedto you as an individual'

This is not a test- there are no right or wrong answers.

There is no time limit to the questionnaire- you may tae as much or aslittle time as you need.

(ou should thin carefully about each "uestion and answer it as honestly aspossible.

(ou should not discuss your possible answers with anyone else since the"uestionnaire aims to identify yourpreferred learning style, not someoneelses preferred style.

For each "uestion, choose the answer that best e$plains your preference andcircle the letter ne$t to the answer.

#f a single answer does not accurately reflect your feelings about the "uestionyou may select more than one response to the "uestion.

#f there are any "uestions you do not understand or you feel the answersprovided do not accurately reflect your beliefs then do not give a response tothe "uestion.

For the most accurate results you should answer all "uestions, if possible.)owever, the "uestionnaire will still be helpful if you answer a minimum of *+"uestions.
