QUILT ASSEMBLY:Refer to diagram for placement on the following page. Pay close attention to rotating of blocks.Odd rows 1-15: Layout (8) rows of (3) LC blocks and (3) QLC blocks and (5) O 2” x 9 1/2” strips. Rows 2, 6, 10 and 14: Lay out (2) O 2” x 9 1/2”, (3) coordinat-ing colored 2” squares and (2) 2” x 20” strips.Rows 4, 8 and 12: Lay out (2) 2” L squares, (3) 2” x 20” strips17. Sew strips, blocks and squares together in each row.18. Sew rows together in order to make quilt center.

BORDER ASSEMBLY:Inside border19. Sew (2) O 2" x WOF strips together at short ends. Sew to the left side of quilt center. Repeat and sew to right side of quilt center. Press and trim both borders even with top and bottom of quilt.

20. Sew (2) O 2" x WOF strips together at short ends. Sew

to the top of quilt center. Repeat and sew to bottom of quilt center. Press and trim both borders even with sides of quilt.

Outside border21. Sew (3) N 3-1/2” x WOF strips together at ends, sew to left side of quilt center, press and trim even with top and bottom of quilt.

22. Sew remaining N strip from Step 21 to (2) N 3-1/2” x WOF strips, sew to right side of quilt center, Press and trim even with top and bottom of quilt.

23. Sew (2) N 3-1/2” x WOF strips together at short ends. Sew to the top of quilt center. Repeat and sew to bottom of quilt center. Press and trim both borders even with sides of quilt.

FINISHING Cut batting and backing 3" larger than top on all sides. Layer backing, batting and top and baste or pin. When quilting is completed, trim excess batting and backing. Bind as usual.
