What is an INERGEN® system?An INERGEN® system works by reducing the oxygen level. INERGEN® ensures that the oxygen concentration in the protected area is reduced so �re cannot survive.
INERGEN® has a 3D extinguishing e�ect, which means that even “hidden” �res are quickly and e�ectively extinguished.
An INERGEN® system distributes inert gas via pipework installed in ceilings or under raised �oors. The pipe network ensures that INERGEN® is evenly distributed for optimal extinguishment.
INERGEN® systems can be tailored to customers’ speci�c needs, and the cylinders can be installed either vertically or horizontally.
How does INERGEN® work?INERGEN® is a patented air mixture. When it is released, the oxygen level in the protected area falls from 20,9 percent – the usual level in atmospheric air – to between 10 and 14 percent, thereby putting out the �re.
In the event of �re, vacate the area. If this is not possible, the unique composition of INERGEN® makes it possible for people to remain in the area while the �re is extinguished.
