Fire-rated doors certified in according to Chinese Standard GB12955-2008!

The new national standard for fire-rated door, GB12955-2008, has come into effect on January 01, 2009 and has been implemented by China Certification Center for Fire Products of the Ministry of Public Security, PRC.

Lock and profile cylinder: Hörmann fire-rated doors and multi-purpose doors contain a fire-proof lock and high quality profile cylinder as standard.

Fire-proof expansion strips:Fire-proof expansion strips on threesides provide perfect fire resistantcharacteristics. ( Only for fire-rated doors )

Lever handle set:Hörmann fire-rated doors arefitted with a stainless steel leverhandle set as standard.

Digital label:According to Chinese code each fire-rated door requests a digital label with description of product and location of installation. In case of destruction of the door all information is available to China Certification Center for Fire Products Ministry of Public Security.

Frame seals:PVC seals in the door frame grooveensure a quiet-closing function andprovide tight sealing between thedoor leaf and frame.

Security bolts:Steel security bolts on the hinge side provide additional stability.

Hinges:Heavy-duty and long life lasting galvanized hinges satisfy fire-proof requirements.

Integral internal latch:The double-leaf doors consist of a strong integral internal bolt keeping the passive leaf attached to the door frame.

Glazing:The glazing profiles on Hörmann steeldoors have a very slim design forsophisticated looks. The profiles are supplied in galvanized steel and primed ( powder coated ) as standard.
