Center

Range Complex – This term refers to the TMC in its entirety. It includes the Rifle Range, Pistol Range, Airgun Range, lobby, team break rooms, hallways and locker rooms.Firing Range – The term firing range refers to the specific enclosure in which firing takes place. It includes the entire area inside the range entrance doors to the back stop. There are three firingranges on TMC – The Smallbore Rifle Range, the Air Gun range and the Pistol Range.Firing Line – The firing line is the line running parallel to the target line at which all firing takes place. No one is permitted for-ward of this line without the consent of the Facilities Manager.Forward Area – The area forward of the firing line to the impact area.Impact Area – The area at and within three feet of the metal plating on which projectiles impact. This includes the granulated rubber and rubber sheeting covering the metal plating.Backstop – The metal plating on which projectiles impact. The Rifle and Pistol ranges have access rooms to the rear of the metal plating. These will be known as the Backstop access areas.Common Areas and Hallways – The lobby near the main entrance and hallways are common areas used by all teams, range users and employees. All shall take care to maintain these areas inappropriate, professional appearance and serviceable state.Rest Room/Latrine areas – There is a women’s restroom and two men’s rest room located on TMC.Arms Room – The secured area near the entrance of the range where weapons, approved ammunition and sensitive items are stored.

Center. The new and improved indoor shooting facility is accessible to DoD ID card holders. See below for information to utilize the facility. The center is located next to the Gillis Field House. We at Family and MWR sincerely appreciate your continued support and will do all we can to make your experience fantastic!

Visit TMC during regular operating hours at 665 Tower Road.

Attend Range Safety Briefing with facility orientation.

Complete Range Questionnaire.

Read and Acknowledge Range Rules.

Read and Acknowledge Hold Harmless Agreement.

Be registered in RecTrac for Range Pass.

Do you want to use your own firearm?

If yes follow procedures in USAG Policy 25 to register POFs

If no you will use a rental Weapon and/or other person’s registered POF.

Once completed, MWR will contact you to a POF Card for TMC usage.

You are all set to use the TMC during operating hours.

Rates and Fees

Privately Owned Firearms must be first registered with Provost Marshal’s Office (PMO) prior to use at TMC. Please turn

the following form into DES Admin. Section at the Military Police Station.

(Building 616, near Thayer Gate).Forms are available at the TMC.
