Title: “WE ARE GOD’S POEMS”
Background Scripture: Ephesians 2:1-10
Text: Ephesians 2:10—“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus
to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (NIV).
INTRODUCTION: In this remarkable epistle, Paul has been rejoicing in the
marvelous grace of God. Grace is God’s unmerited favor in spontaneous
action toward undeserving sinners. Grace seeks the sinner. Grace satisfies the
sinner. God’s grace is sufficient for all.
The text refers to four aspects of our great salvation made possible by the grace
of God and that makes it possible for us to be what God intended us to be.
THE DIVINE ORIGIN OF SALVATION
THE DIVINE METHOD OF SALVATION
THE DIVINE PURPOSE FOR OUR SALVATION
THE DIVINE PROGRAM FOR THE SAVED
CONCLUSION: Have you permitted God’s work to begin in your heart? If you
have not, why not let him begin his work of love and mercy and grace today.
The Bible says, “Indeed, the ‘right time’ is now. Today is the day of salvation”
(II Corinthians 6:2).
