Character & Citizenship Education
To mould the future of the nation, by moulding the people
who will determine the future of our nation. In so doing,
we will provide our children with a balanced and well-
rounded education, develop them to their full potential,
and nurture them into good citizens, conscious of their
responsibilities to family, community and country. The
purpose of education must therefore be beyond just
academics. It must be to prepare our students for life, for
work and for citizenship.

• Help our children to understand the link
of learning and values, and the interconnectedness of the world they live in
Take a step back and let our children learn to
deal with challenges and setbacks on their own and not be too quick to intervene, no matter how good our intentions may be
How you can better support your
children’s learning for Primary 1?
• Excite them in learning: allow them to have the
sense of joy to explore, ask questions, discover and find out answers
• Spend time with your child: Discuss thoughts
and feelings on any topic of the day
• Role-Model: Show them how they can care for the
people around them and care for the environment
• Partner and support the school in our efforts:
Educate the whole child
IMPORTANCE of your Presence
• A child will pass through many classrooms and learn from different teachers through his formative years
• Parents and guardians remain a constant throughout a child’s life, and there are as many, if not more, important lessons to be taught at home as there are in schools
• We work hand-in-hand to educate and inculcate values
Looking forward to a year of learning with our students.
Do join your child in the excitement.
Thank you
