South + English emerged from the creative minds and hands of Palmer and David

just nine months ago (somewhat under the radar). S+E is in its infancy, indeed!

What heady and fun early days these are, full of experimentation and revelation.

But, great design never flourishes in the dark, and secrecy is not our nature. While

the South + English perspective is honed and distinctive, Palmer and David crave

community. Hence, fall High Point Market is the first-flight penultimate launch of

approximately fifty South + English furniture pieces, and dozens more works of art.

It’s About Furniture. It’s About Life. You’ve got it: South + English is all about fresh starts.

Forward is the only direction Palmer and David know. So, it’s perhaps no surprise that the first S+E

collection is called Clean Slate. Each piece feels fresh, modern and in the moment. Yet, Clean Slate

designs echo traditional forms and the manufacturing process is classic old school. Each solid

wood piece is made to order in the American Middle West, bench-made by skilled artisans.
