INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS
PRESENTATION OF PAPERS
Official languge of Symposium is English. Oral presentation should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint
(ppt or pprx format) in English. Posters (in portret, dimensions, 90 x 70 cm (high x wide)) should be
prepared in English.
SYMPOSIUM VENUE
Symposium will take place in Vrdnik, hotel “Premier Aqua”. (Address: Hotel Premier Aqua, Martina Klasića
street 16, phone: +381 22 21 55 333). Vrdnik is located 21km from Novi Sad.
You can use taxi from main bus/railway station (approximate price is 20€ in one direction) or one can use
public busis.
If you travel by car, recommended route from Belgrade direction is via highway Belgrade-Sid, taking the
exit near Ruma. After that, two recommended routs:
First, shorter way takes from highway (E70) exit near Ruma, right to direction Ruma. At the first entrance to
Ruma, one should take the left turn, cross the rail-way and go straight through Ruma for 15 km till you reach
Vrdnik. This rout is 20 km long.
Second route is a detour round Ruma, taking the route Novi Sad-Šabac, which you proceed for about 12 km
till you reach Irig. At the very entrance- the junction, there is a traffic-sign which tells you to take the left
turn and proceed for 10 km till you reach Vrdnik. Total length: 24 km.
From Novi Sad direction, we recommend two routes over Fruska Gora: First route is via Novi Sad- Šabac
road till the Iriski venac junction, where you should take the right turn and proceed for about 5 km till you
reach viewpoint Zmajevac, where you should turn left and proceed for about 4 km till you reach Vrdnik.
Second route is through Sremska Kamenica on the way to Beočin, turn left at Zmajevac, till you reach the
Vrdnik. Lenght: about 22 km.
