A48 CLASE ROAD (SLIP), MORRISTON, SWANSEA. NOTICE 2020

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea in pursuance of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intend to close the above-mentioned road. In order for Shift Traffic Limited to carry out Telecom works on A48 Clase Road to B4603 Woodfield Street left turn slip it will be necessary to temporarily close the slip road to vehicular traffic.

A48 CLASE ROAD (SLIP), MORRISTON, SWANSEA.

SCHEDULE - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE A48 CLASE ROAD (SLIP), MORRISTON A48 Clase Road in a north-easterly direction from its junction with A48 Clase Road to its junction with B4603 Woodfield Street, a distance of approximately 25 metres. The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via northbound B4603 Sway Road, B4603 Clydach Road, orbit the mini roundabout at the junction of Llanlienwen Road and B4603 Clydach Road, southbound B4603 Clydach Road, B4603 Sway Road and B4603 Woodfield Street, a distance of approximately 2.7 kilometres. This route will not operate in the opposite direction. Access for emergency vehicles, pedestrians and residents to be maintained at all times. The closure will operate from Friday 24th July 2020 for 5 days (Or until the works are completed whichever is the sooner). It is anticipated these works will take 1 night to complete (22:00-05:00).
